Clipsal Clean Sweep For Whincup Reigning V8 Supercar Champion Jamie Whincup has made the perfect start to defending his title, winning the Clipsal 500 in Adelaide. Whincup is hoping to become the first driver since Marcos Ambrose (2003-04) to win back-to-back championship crowns.  Whincup Wins V8 Supercars Title Capping off one of the most successful years in the history of the sport, Team Vodafone driver Jamie Whincup took out his 16th race win of the season and claimed the V8 Supercars Title for 2008. It was an emotional victory for Jamie with his parents watching the final race from pit lane.  |
